Copper, Nickel Silver. Liver of Sulfur Patina.

Tea infuser inspired by the Camellia sinensis flower. Center ball is split in half, the top part of which is removable to insert tea.

If it were silver plater, yes. Otherwise the acid from the tea will degrade the metal, which would leech into the tea.
